Solar Energy: A solution to energy and environmental problems?
The symposium took place on April 24, 2009. The first in a series of conferences hosted by the The George Washington University Institute for Analysis of Solar Energy, it focused on using solar electricity to meet challenges in energy independence and climate change. New research, key technical leaders, as well as influential decision-makers were featured with the aim of developing a consensus vision for the role of solar energy.
