Peter Iinquiti


Peter Linquiti is the Director of the George Washington University’s Environmental Resource Policy Graduate Program and an Associate Professor on the faculty of  GW’s Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration where his research and teaching focus on public policies relating to air quality, climate change, hazardous and solid waste, drinking water, risk assessment, and clean energy technologies.

As the Director of the ENRP program, Professor Linquiti manages a pioneering Master of Arts program that offers a multidisciplinary approach to environmental and sustainability studies and prepares students to enter environmental policy careers in government, non-profit organizations, the private sector, and environmental advocacy groups. Prior to coming to GW, Dr. Linquiti served as executive vice president of ICF International, a global consulting firm focused on energy and environmental policy.

Dr. Linquiti holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Public Administration from George Washington University, as well as a Master’s in Public Policy and a BA in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley.
