Through over 50 workshops and events, the two-day conference hosted thousands of people and featured members of Congress and high-profile speakers like EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy and AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka.

Director Ronen participated in the workshop, National Solar Jobs Census 2013: Tracking Trends and Exploring New Horizons in Solar Employment, and provided remarks on the solar industry’s progress and developments and answered policy and technical questions about the 2013 Solar Jobs Census.

Panelists included:

  • Andrea Luecke, Executive Director, The Solar Foundation
  • Amit Ronen, Director, GW Solar Institute
  • Chris Nichols, U.S. Department of Energy
  • Ken Stadlin, President and CEO, Kenergy Solar

The conference served as an important forum for continuing conversations on the value of green jobs and their benefit to both the environment and the American economy.
