On April 23, 2013, over 200 people attended the GW Solar Institute 5th Annual Symposium, Solar Energy: Going Global.
The event convened major figures in the energy and solar arenas, including a keynote address from First Solar Vice President of Government Relations, Kathy Weiss, who spoke about the growing solar markets around the world.
Other highlights include a panel moderated by World Bank Principal Climate Specialist, Alan Miller, on the role of concentrated solar power throughout the world, as well as an expert panel moderated by the Chair of the Energy Practice at Winston & Strawn LLP, Jerry Bloom, on the realistic economic and political outlook for solar energy.
