Lucas Crampton studies Global Public Health at the Elliott School of International Affairs and examines environmental issues through the interdisciplinary minor in Sustainability. His research at the Solar Institute focuses on solar implementation for low-income households and community solar projects on contaminated industrial sites.
Lucas has participated in and lead trips with GW Alternative Breaks to Guatemala and the Cherokee Nation. He works with the University on sustainability initiatives, including encouraging fellow students to conserve water and energy. He interned with the American National Standards Institute in the summer, helping to coordinate their Greenhouse Gas accreditation program.
