Neighborhood Sun – Fall 2016 Internship Residential Programs Intern
Neighborhood Sun is looking for an Intern to join our dynamic company during Fall-Winter of 2016. The company’s mission is to create community through clean energy projects. To make the solar dream a reality for several different households, we engage the community through community events and various tabling set-ups. The Intern will engage actively with potential subscribers, raise their interest in local clean energy, and receive feedback about what we offer.

Passion for the environment and/or interest in clean, renewable energy
Ability to work independently - a “self starter”
Ability to work quickly and efficiently
About the Intern:
The Intern will primarily assist with all public outreach efforts for the company. Daily activities may include, but are not limited to: direct outreach to potential customers, managing social media accounts, researching and contacting potential partners, assisting at community events and with general office organization.
Compensation: Transportation Reimbursement and stipend TBD.
Schedule: November 2016 – February 2017. Internship commitment is at least 15 hours/week and up to 30 hours/week. Must be willing to work on occasional weekends and evenings.
Atmosphere: Casual, fun, and energetic. We are a start-up company looking to grow exponentially through venture capital investments and increased sales. Get in on the ground floor!
