In pursuing its mission the George Washington University Solar Institute will release annual reports detailing the Institute's outreach and research sucesses from the preceding year. Reports are released in the fall.

Annual Report 2011
The Solar Institute's 2011 Annual Report underscores the Institute’s ongoing role in providing advice to the U.S. Department of Energy, as well as recent accomplishments in research and outreach. Among the important policy and technical research efforts highlighted in the Annual Report, is an analysis, published in the journal Energy Policy, of the numerous benefits that accrue to both utilities and society from the use of solar energy. This research has already received significant attention on prominent renewable energy websites and at industry conferences.

Annual Report 2010
The Solar Institute's 2010 Annual Report highlights new research and outreach efforts of the Institute between October of 2009 to 2010. Highlights include connections around Washington, as well as the Annual Symposium and media outreach. The Report also details the valuable informational role it has played with both the Federal and State government agencies.
Annual Report 2009
In its first Annual Report , the George Washington University Solar Institute addresses the many accomplishments, ongoing research and growing partnerships of the Institute, including details of the Director's role with the US Department of Energy's Solar Vision, which is developping a 20 year roadmap for solar energy.
